| Description: |
Carberry Officers conducted an
investigation related to the illegal
sale of fish to a local restaurant. The
name of a resident of Marius, Manitoba
had appeared on the cheque for payment
of the fish that the restaurant had
purchased.
The accused was asked to produce a
driver’s license to verify identity and
compare the signature on the cheque. The
accused also indicated that it was his
signature.
The sale of walleye was made to the
restaurant from an individual who was
not a commercial fisherman and therefore
not allowed to sell fish.
Joseph Adelard Beaulieu was issued a
Notice to appear at the Provincial Court
in Brandon Manitoba on November 08,2006.
He plead guilty to selling fish
illegally and was fined $300.00. |
