Fail to carry license on person while hunting |

| Description: |
A Roblin NRO was conducting deer hunting
checks near Shellmouth, MB. This area
experienced occasional hunting after
legal time problems.
The NRO observed a light up in a tree
across a field after dark. Upon making
it over to the area he observed a hunter
climbing out of his tree stand. The
hunter introduced himself as Vito
Manginelli of Valhalla, New York. He
advised that he was hunting deer with
his bow.
Vito Manginelli could not produce his
license when asked by the Officer,
stating that he had left it at camp. His
outfitter showed up about 20 minutes
later and confirmed that Manginelli was
his client and assured the Officer that
he did have a license.
The next day Mr. Manginelli did produce
his valid hunting license at the office.
He was subsequently charged for fail to
carry license on person while hunting.
On December 5, 2006 he plead guilty to
the charge and received a $144.00 fine. |
