| Description: |
Riverton area officers observed a
whitefish boat at the Gull Harbour
Marina boat dock. It was determined that
HANSEN, Jack Lindsay was the owner of
the whitefish boat.
HANSEN’S delivery point, as indicated on
his commercial fishing license, is
Berens River. He must have a loadslip
when he is not delivering to Berens River.
HANSEN provided an incorrect name and
date of birth when issued an Appearance
Notice. This is an offence under the
Fisheries Act (Canada).
HANSEN was convicted of one count of
Fail to provide loadslip and fined
$100.00 in Arborg court. The second
count of making a false statement to a
Fishery Officer was stayed as per the
Crown’s advice. |
