Officers conducting meat locker
inspections during hunting seasons
discovered a deer carcass to which was
attached a tag with no date of kill
cut out. The contact name
accompanying this tag was "Billy" and
a telephone number.
The deer carcass, tag and contact name
were seized. Subsequent investigation
revealed that the tag belonged to
Ernest DEW of St. Andrews, MB.
Officers attended Ernest DEW's place
of employment and served him with a
summons for the offence. The last
name of the acquaintance "Billy" was
not revealed.
The charge against Ernest DEW was
defaulted therefore the total penalty
was $280 and the deer was forfeited to
the Crown.
Ernest DEW is known publically as the
President of the Hell's Angels
Motorcycle Club. |
