Obstruct officer and overlimit of saugers |

| Description: |
Officers conducting night time patrols
at Lockport had occasion to observe the
person HUYNH, Thi Nhan angling. She was
observed placing many saugers in a pail
and continue fishing. Two officers
approached while a 3rd kept her under
surveillance. Upon seeing the 2
approaching officers, HUYNH, Thi Nhan
intentionally grabbed her pail and
turned it over. The 3rd officer
contacted the other 2 officers and then
approached also. One officer quickly
retrieved many of the fish that had been
in the pail. The 3rd officer charged
HUYNH, Thi Nhan with obstruction as she
was believed to have been trying to
destroy evidence. 26 saugers were
counted by the Officers therefore she
was charged with being 22 saugers over
her limit of 4. HUYNH, Thi Nhan was
fined $1,467 for obstruction and $552
for being over limit. |
