| Description: |
A Selkirk NRO on patrol of the
recreational fishery of the Red River
had occasion to inspect Terry Tronrud
and Jason Toma. The officer counted
approximately 7 active lines and barbed
hooks attached to several lines.
Both subjects were charged with the
offences. Terry Tronrud pleaded guilty
and received a total fine of $154.
Jason Toma defaulted on his plea
therefore was assessed the set fines of
$154 plus an extra $50 for each count
for a total of $254. |
